Corporate Accountant

Our client is a very well established and highly respected New Zealand success story which has recently been acquired by a global infrastructure private equity group. The company employs over 1,600 staff and has multiple locations throughout the country.

The Corporate Accountant is responsible for applying principles of accounting to prepare, analyse and report financial information for the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing financial analysis and insights to support corporate projects and initiatives.
• Lead the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare reports on monthly financials for the management team
• Achieve accurate completion of annual statutory reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Key requirements:

• CA or CPA qualified
• Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI and financial management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High standards of attention to detail, accuracy and precision
