Senior Investment Analyst | Buy-side

Our client is a well-established and highly successful private equity and investment management organisation in New Zealand. They are seeking a talented Senior Investment Analyst to join their Auckland-based team.

The fund invests across a broad range of asset classes, including Global Equities, Fixed Income, Infrastructure/Property (listed and non-listed), Private Equity/Credit, Commodities, and more. With a global focus, the role will also offer some exposure to transactions, including M&A activity..

Key responsibilities will include the following:

- Conducting financial modelling and in-depth research on new investment opportunities and sectors.
- Analysing companies and preparing valuation reports
- Preparing and presenting financial data and analysis

We are keen to connect with candidates who have 3–6 years of experience in institutional equity research, funds management, private equity, investment banking, or related fields.

You will be a positive, motivated and enthusiastic person who is versatile, who can turn your hand to a variety of tasks.  You must have a broad understanding of businesses and be able to ascertain the value-drivers of a business.
